Doctrine and Devotion's first conference is happening on March 11th, 2017 in the western suburbs of Chicago. This one day event will focus on the use of confessions in the life of the Christian and the local church as it relates to faith and godliness. DR. JIM RENIHAN

Dr. Jim Renihan is the Dean and Professor of Historical Theology at the Institute of Reformed Baptist Studies at Westminster Seminary in Escondido, California. He is a pastor/theologian/historian/author you need to know.

His new book, Faith and Life for Baptists: The Documents of the London Particular Baptist Assemblies, 1689-1694 is an important work for all baptists who want a better grasp on where we came from and what our forefathers were working through in during our early days.

PASTOR JOE THORN

Joe Thorn is the Lead Pastor of Redeemer Fellowship and the author of a few books. His most recent work is a 3 volume set on the local church coming out in march through Moody Publishers.

When and Where

The conference is going down on March 11, 2017 from 10am to 4pm. We will meet at New Covenant Bible Church in St. Charles, IL.

 

What You Get

Conference attendees will receive a custom conference journal featuring artwork from Peter Voth, and a digital download (video) of all four sessions.

Full Conference Registration $47

Register online to attend the conference in person and you receive a custom journal for taking notes and a digital download (video) of all four session.

STUDENT RATE: Full Conference Registration $20

Students present at the event can get in on the full conference package for over 50% off.

If you can't make it to the conference you can register for the digital download (video) of all four sessions.

If you forget to register online you can still join us, but it will cost you a bit more. $55 at the door.

Lodging

For those staying overnight the closest hotel is the Fairfield Inn and Suites in St. Charles. The hotel is only 3 miles away from the event (about a 5 minute drive.) and close to a number of restaurants and stores.

 

Local Churches

If you're staying in St. Charles into Sunday you can join us for worship at Redeemer Fellowship where Dr. Renihan will be preaching at both of our morning services. We also recommend New Covenant Bible Church in St. Charles, and Westminster Presbyterian in Elgin.
